S/S*11 Style Check ft. GalStar Buys
Cheers people, has summer started for everyone here in the north yet? Believe it or not, I'm finally free from school and sososo relieved to finally be done with those school assignments and finals *pheeeww*. My last ever spring semester from school is over and done with!
Time to get summer break going, then - with Summer Styles 2011 !
Starting with the cover of the newest Nuts magazine that I've got, issue 6/11
I liked the turquoise eye make (closeup HERE) so I attempted the same myself;

Ah, I haven't even realized how far into spring - almost summer - we are already! And honestly I haven't bothered thinking about what-to-wear-in S/S 2011 much... *yaaawwnn*. But luckily the Nuts magazines that I've gotten shipped to my door (thanks to CdJapan) have reminded me of the existence of STYLE hohoho. And gotten me thinking, "hmmm, maybe I should be setting my summer style plans clear already..." ( u ______ u )
So I went through the some Gyaru mags looking for some summer style ideas,
and picked 5 of my favorite trend items from Nuts 6/11 to show you guys;
| 1. The see-through white shirt. So useful, goes with anything! 2. The big floppy sun hat. 3. Denim shorts, preferably torn. A must-have summer staple. 4. Lace shirt. Ladylike and sleek, but not as boring as a plain shirt. 5. Beige shorts. When you want more formal than denim. (+ some wedges, sandal-like maybe?) |
I'm really really liking the two outfits with the beige shorts! And #3. WHY Yui SO PRETTY? ♥
I've been wanting to get one of those big hats since winter but it's seemed impossible finding one of those here in Finland! Lace shirts seem real hard to find too. And as I was looking through my closet I noticed I don't have good denim shorts or beige shorts - both pretty much the "goes with anything" type, so they'd be real useful having.
There I was, wondering where the heck I'd find all these items from; but then I remembered seeing this GALSTAR online store ad on Nuts magazine.
The ad ft. Sayoko just happened to have the perfect see-thru shirt + hat ↓
So, I went straight on GALSTAR online shop myself. AND as you can probably guess I just haaaaddd to place a little order on there~ And since I'm such a lazy butt to take a thousand pictures, I took a little HAUL VIDEO of my latest shopping finds to show you guys what I got teeheehee ♥

So yeppers, those are most likely going to become my summer style staples. I shall show you guys those items in action once I've had time to wear them and have taken pictures with me wearing them too. Taking more outfit pictures is my blogger's goal for this summer!

Welcoming Spring – Moving Out & In
Long time no see-see, people! I'm hoping most of you have read that previous post by now - so that you guys would already know what's been up for me: I've been moving my stuff out of my old apartment, and moving them in this new home one of mine & my bb's.
So. I'm still alive & kicking and of course, more presentable than ever :
Hohohoho *cough* just took this whilst recording a V-Log video, and I'm pretty sure that's one of the best pics ever taken of me. You don't think?
Oh, "what VLOG" you say? I took a little VLOG to explain what's been up in the past month. Afterall I haven't posted in ages = there's just too much to tell ↓

that's not an engagement ring *fingers crossed* - yet.
Of course you're now thinking "well, can't you take a little time off in the midst of moving so you could blog too??" but honestly, it's been school work 24/7. No wonder I dropped half my classes last spring since this amount of school work in the last months of spring THIS huge. But let's not go there.
About the moving out-in process;
Like said, me and B found ourselves an apartment to move into a month back & got the keys to it 3 weeks ago on Friday. The hassle of emptying my old flat (by the end of April!) was one heck of a job! I spent several nights emptying it with B and cleaning it up with me'h daddy.
Here's from a week ago, in the old flat → looking quite empty here already.
We moved all the furniture etc to this new place 3 weeks ago. B's friends came to help us carry everything to the new apartment. We've been living here for two weeks now but as you could tell from that vlog, it's still kind of a big mess here still!
Anyway,
I've been snatching photos from along the way & am here with a pic spam!
Moving out started with the packing; I thought this ↓ was a lot of boxes already but... wrong! 
Luckily B came to join me with getting my things ready for moving them out of my old apartment.
I only tried to leave makeup and hair stuff & clothes at the old place. The bed was moved too.
After we'd moved our furniture in the new place, we went there every day and night to clean up and such. Like B is here, in his cool shirt which is unfortunately kind of blurry on here ↓ 
And because I had school assignments due every day and had to work on those too, I set up a little work table next to the kitchen. Which was pretty cool I thought ↓
In the beginning, the place was pretty empty of course. But cool book thingy huh? ↓
Little by little things started looking more like a home tho; we added plants ↓
And more plants and herbs...
One of my favorite green things is the little lemon tree which I insisted on us getting ↓
Anyway, our apartment is still full of bags & boxes as I said before; see?
And it wasn't long until I had completely emptied my old home and had so say BYEBYE to it. And got a last glimpse of my very own first home, all empty and ready for it's next owner. ↓
And whaddya know, we also celebrated B's b-day on easter. I actually made a dinosaur cake for him which I thought was super cool- don't really know if he thought it was as cool but hmm. I think so.
I still haven't thrown away the candles from B's B-day cake. Too cool I think.
And oh, did I mention our ANNIVERSARY?!! He bought a bunchhhhhh of flowers!❤ Whoa. My favorites, even two big phalaenopsis orchids in pots that we can keep. And much more.
And then came May Day... like said, I came home from work on the eve of May Day, and THIS LITTLE BEAST ↓ was waiting for me in the hallway on the other side of the door!❤
I can't get over how awesome my HK balloon is. It cheers me up so much ( n ______ n )
Below's me with B on May Day ↓, the first day in ages that I could actually be with him on, since all I've been doing for what seems like a forever is school school school. (But I guess I mentioned THAT one already ;o)

Wow, that's enoughpictures for one post huh? Hope you guys enjoyed this post tho it wasn't about style or fashion or such, but as said I wanted to tell you guys a little bit about what's been going on around me and with me so I thought using a VLOG and photos worked better than a loooooonnggg text, hmm?!
But no more than 2-3 weeks of serious school time left before "summer break" from school!

Ka-chinnggg you guys, hope everyone's as good as ever. I have SO much to post (as much as ever before, d'oh) but I'm also busy trying to get all the proper widgets etc in on this blog. AND of course, I should be fixing a new header picture for us. Oh, and not to mention answering to a thousand awesome comments. The thing is, it's exactly 1 month until x-mas now = I am insanely busy with school now!!
I have little 'life' this month because as the last-minute person that I am, I've left all possible school assignments and reviewing for finals etc to be done now. So please be understanding if things on this site seem a little all over the place for a while now! After I'm done with school finals. Can't wait to see what all we'll be getting here on this site then!
But in this post I thought I'd show you guys something I haven't really been advertising much before. Two things: how I've been wearing my hair lately, and somethings quite MANRIIII I'm also into.
The other day when my bf had gotten his paycheck we headed to the UFS store here in Helsinki. Now, we went there to buy some t-shirst for the man - they've got a wide selection of sturdy, nicely detailed shirts and such at the store actually! So many awesome tattoo-printed ones (loves♥) that visiting the store would surely make me wish I was a guy if I didn't have my man with me. To buy and wear all the cool men's shirts that I can't be wearing you know. Hohoho~
Most probably aren't familiar with the UFC scene brands so here's my favorite, SilverStar ↓
HEHEHEE love it! Don't you? Nice lips & boobs, man! Ok so this one's kind of a good example for whom this whole thing is aimed at, probably not us ladies huh? Anyway you can kind of see what a big thing the tattoo thing is on these I think.
So yeppers, as the man was talking with the store keeper trying to find the shirts we'd gone there for, I was killing time in store. Trying to find something. And was shown where the ladies rack was. Aaaaand whaddya know - next second I'm in the fitting room trying on a ladies' v-neck-shirt!♥
You know, one of those slim-fit ladies models, from SilverStar, that are planned with the male watcher in mind, to present the boobage part of ladies like the blonde in the above pic. I think. Well I thought; all I need now is to replace these of mine with some silicilty and get longer legs ( • w • ) ...No, wait, what was that?
Honest? Loved the print, it was perfect fit + so comfy. So, I got it ↓
The print is surprisingly well detailed, love the wings. ↓
I don't know how it is with you girls (and guys) but I've always liked hanging out with guys because with guys I'll be doing stuff like talking about cars, games, fighting, the army, and watching UFC - that last one being what the UFS store's brands represent basically. At the end of the day I'm the girl who starts thai boxing like some UFC fanatic guy, and who wishes she could kick some major ★★★ after a night out in a club like the guys do *snort*
Life's so unfair sometimes you know? No matter how hard I try - ok I could start by not wearing t-shirts that show the boobage - but they'll still just see me as boobs or a 160cm-short lil' girl. The closest I could probably ever get to the UFC rink would be THIS (great silicons btw, otherwise a freaking boring vid haha). Hohoho. Oh well, life sucks and then you die ♥ Just kidding.
OK WAIT I did not just write like an essay on UFC and boobs, did I now? What am I really... I promised I was going to talk about HAIR! Geez, sorry guys, got a little carried away there hohoho~ Better get back to the safe subjects ayee!

Ta-daaaaaaahhh!! You guys keep asking me if I've been wearing extensions, well, now the IMO pretty much obvious by the looks already truth is out. Not that it ever was a secret but I just never liked to advertise it much~
I've been wearing clip-on extensions for about a year now, and why I've been able to without them looking all silly half the time is because my hair is almost as long as the extensions in the back. In the past weeks I've been experimenting with my own hair without the extensions and have been wearing mine down w/o them too unlike before.
Oh my oh my, is it just me or do these posts just keep getting longer and longer and these pictures just growing in size with time? Oh well, if you've got something to say about that REMEMBER TO TAKE THE POLL! Ok?
