Surprise Package From Japan; Rilakkuma Haul
Long time, no blog post! Meanwhile, I've taken some must-do time; I've decided to write my thesis/final-report this spring (leaving my marketing-job internship to fall), I've gone to a job interview for a less-business job, and what's best, I've got me that new job!
Let me tell ya folks, if I could blog 24/7 I would - yet getting school & work done takes time.
Either way I recorded a little vlog video for you guys the other day!
In my room at my parents', wearing a Zara top & a silver necklace I got from B for my B-day.
A package from Japan; my big sis is currently staying in Tokyo for her Uni language studies. While most likely strolling around the ever-lovable Shibuya she'd done some shopping for me - and shipped a few things to me around my birthday as a b-day gift. She knows just how much I love Rilakkuma, and since I'd asked her to buy me this certain jacket from gal brand Egoist she got me all of these pretty things I'll show you in the video!
Admitting my vlogging skills need some perfectening - with the slantedness and humming sound of my laptop throughout the video. Will work on those!

Honestly speaking? I ate the whole bag of strawberry cheesecake chocos at once! Yum yum!
Sayoko looking beautiful as usual. This issue had some nifty hair styling ideas worth sharing!
The whole "gift set". Like said, will post pictures of the jacket later once I get to wearing it.

Gearing Up For Back-To-School
My friends, fall semester at the uni I study bizzz at, starts next week. Aw man . . .
What school kid or student does NOT have a love-hate relationship with the annual "BACK TO SCHOOL!!" advertisements etc everywhere, at the start of the new school year each fall? As if it wasn't obvious and annoying enough that summer vacation was coming to an end, each bus stop, newspaper and store window just HAS to SCREAM "back to school!"
Fellow students, don't tell me I'm alone with this feeling!
This Lindex window ↓ for one is almost right across from the shop I work in. Ggahhhh.
Ok this kinda store windows and stuff was cool on 1st and 2nd grade but...
I just counted I'm on my 16th study year!! Quite a lot of school years huh? *ka-chinggg*♪
But hey, you guys know

For the sake of this being my last school fall ever, I'm all up for hauling new school gear and school clothes like a proper school kid! Which always used to make my fall. When I was little I mean... what you say?... "just like every year for the past 16 years" eh? Ohh come oooonnn, don't kid yourselves! It's not like IT STILL DOES! ( > ε ´~ )
So yeppers, I just had to check on what school gear the stores had to offer.
To find they had Charmmy Kitty ↓ (when not Hello Kitty) on all the kid's stuff!
S'cuse me, shop sales person? Why did u not have alla dis back when I was a 1st grader huh?
Anyway I only bought the essential things. Such as this MyLittlePony sharpener ↓
And a 3€ on-sale Charmmykitty map, to keep at home for storing school print-outs.
Oh and about the Charmmykitty map; when I got home I noticed what it had on the back;
"K" ↑ . Heh heh, just perfect for a humble person like myself, to have my initial on it! Hohoho~*
I also bought a new planner ↓ with a clear photo pocket cover you can switch the pic of.
(My phone's calendar is crappy so I still use a planner book to keep up with work shifts, tests etc.)
Ahh, to be a school kid again!
Now let me show you what I'm going to be carrying in my school bag;
| - HK tissues, fold-out piggy shopping bag, leopard print makeup bag - a proper new eraser and sharpener - planner with an "elle accessories" pic I cut out and replaced the original cover pic with - keikkiPad in leopard print case, and a pink small folder for print-outs i get during class - Rilakkuma pencil pouch and/or mini HK pencil case - wallet and home and work keys, plus phone of course (missing from picture) |

V-Day: Loving These Right Now (&Forever)
Hey guys! I hope everyone's feeling all filled with love today. Maybe you are spending this day all dreamy, strolling around town with your honey buns, eating crepes or such (if in Finland, heart-shaped donuts would do), and making the most of this day. OR, maybe you're one of those people who just hate the whole idea of this *day of love*. Be it for the materialization of it, or because you don't have a Valentine (don't be hatin') or because you're just a heartless sourbutt that doesn't like chocolate, pink, or happy feelings. HA! *phhbbbtt~*
But hey, which ever way you feel about this day, I'm here to wish you all a
Super Sweet Valentine's Day!
Well well! I myself am NOT one of those people who don't like chocolate and everything pink and overly cutesy. You know, unless you hadn't noticed hohoho. As a friend of all occasions that include the chance of parties, decorating, baking, and cute things in general- I've always found Valentine's an ok day, even throughout the years I've been single on Feb 14th *cough*.
So if I'm oh-so-excited about Valentine's, why am I sitting at home blogging right now?
Well, it just so happened that my man had to leave for a stupid-butt work trip again this morning, so I only saw him round 6:45 AM and since then I've been sitting here, blogging. And am about to head to work soon. So I won't be celebrating V-day much today, but I'm sure we'll be able to make up for it with my bb once he's back to Helsinki.
So on this day of love, I thought I'd post about some of my favorite things right now, including some recent small buys and future got-to-get's, the looks I love the most right now, etc. AND if you dare to read 'til the end of this post... you might see me something on my most beloved thing/ person/ everything.

Busy Being Pocahontas
Hi people! With this week's 2 finals behind & having made a temporary new header for this site last night, I'm here to make a little holiday stuff related update ♥ Finally.
I'm sure we've all noticed how Christmasy things are starting to look in the shops, malls and such. Not to say that I hadn't already started making ginger bread men every other day and making awesome holiday relaxation plans. But what can I say ♥
I'm quite a Christmas fanatic! I go around singing Christmas songs year round and now I've already got my white glittery Christmas tree set up in my home. So to all y'alls who feel like they've already had an over doze of the yearly HOLIDAY HYPE - I'm so sorry but you just might have to suffer a bit more if you're to read my bloggy around the holidays!
And then a quick style update.
First a little webcam quality picture on how I've been looking like walking around lately. Just so you'd recognize me if I walked past! Hohoho. Since I've been wearing my hair down with no fringe and almost straight with no extensions, even my mom was like "new hair? you look new!". I'm like "older, right?" ( > w < ) In the picture below my hair's tucked under that collar though.
OK I know this one's way too grainy & blurry, I'll get better pics in asap!
The collar from above is some white faux fur collar I've ripped of some old knit.
The rest of the outfit included a GinaTricot knit & some denim tights on a skater's thighs;
And also my latest shoe buy, the brown suede Pocahontas boots I got for 20€ !
