Surprise Package From Japan; Rilakkuma Haul

Long time, no blog post! Meanwhile, I've taken some must-do time; I've decided to write my thesis/final-report this spring (leaving my marketing-job internship to fall), I've gone to a job interview for a less-business job, and what's best, I've got me that new job!

Let me tell ya folks, if I could blog 24/7 I would - yet getting school & work done takes time.

Either way I recorded a little vlog video for you guys the other day!

In my room at my parents', wearing a Zara top & a silver necklace I got from B for my B-day.

A package from Japan; my big sis is currently staying in Tokyo for her Uni language studies. While most likely strolling around the ever-lovable Shibuya she'd done some shopping for me - and shipped a few things to me around my birthday as a b-day gift.  She knows just how much I love Rilakkuma, and since I'd asked her to buy me this certain jacket from gal brand Egoist she got me all of these pretty things I'll show you in the video!

Admitting my vlogging skills need some perfectening -  with the slantedness and humming sound of my laptop throughout the video. Will work on those!

For the items in the package, here's a few close-ups;

Honestly speaking? I ate the whole bag of strawberry cheesecake chocos at once! Yum yum!

Sayoko looking beautiful as usual. This issue had some nifty hair styling ideas worth sharing!

The whole "gift set". Like said, will post pictures of the jacket later once I get to wearing it.

It's Saturday night now so I'll be back blogging this upcoming week. About recent sales gets (such as my new faux furrrr coat ooo-weehh!), then hopefully about some photo shooting and so on! Would you like to see some magazine scans from this newest issue of gal mag Nuts too? Cheers!

Koala Greetings From Copenhagen

Hej there my friends & foes! Noticed I've been absent for more than a week? "Becaaause?" Ah, why, how funny you should ask, I almost didn't want to tell yalls♥ Hohoho. I've spent the last days out-of-country - on a 4-day trip with my mom & big sis to Copenhagen, capital city of Denmark!

The view from our hotels breakfast room; some pretty Danish-looking rooftops.

As always after a trip abroad, I've now got buttloads of pictures to post! I'll make a whole another post about Copenhagen with more photos asap. But I just want to give you guys at least something to read until I'm done with cropping etc of those photos!

OK. Now on to the important news.

I'm guessing you read the headline of this post? And now I bet you're going "seriously did keikk even finish high school? Koalas are from Australia not Scandinavia yo..."  Ah, don't be so hasty to judge my friend! If you thought koalas are only seen down under, then I got something for you;

Seen in AU: Koala #1 .
Seen in Copenhagen near an Accessorize shop: Koala #2.

Ok, 1st one's so cute I could adopt it, 2nd one I lolled at b/c it looks like alien face. Heh heh. Alright, I guess that's just my way of saying I'm very fond of my new Accessorize earmuffs ♥ I found during our stay in Copenhagen. I'm quite content these are on my winter favs list.

Our four days in town were surprisingly chilly! (a Finnish person always expects every other place to be warmer than her home coutry, since she always travels south) but luckily I'd brought my wool jacket, knit scarf and gloves along. and even that furry vest. Those earmuffs surely saved my ears on our last, most chillest day there.

Here in Christiania, all layered up on our sunny but windy last day in CPH.

A lot of walking means a lot of coffee breaks - what else than bicycles in the background.

Oh bummer, bedtime! Work tomorrow morning but I should be off work from Fri-Sun though, so although my first priority is getting my marketing assignments done of course I should have some time for editing the rest of these photos then! Or at least blogging on the things I shopped in Copenhagen. Stay tuned!

Cheers for now - PS. sorry for the delayed answering to comments! Taking care of that next ♥

Falling For Fall Colors Insp. Lara & Milla

Looking at how truly pretty it's been outside for example yesterday when we were walking the pup in the woods again - I can't believe I ever said I 'didn't like fall'. Well, we've had none of the icky rain yet so I guess there's been little not to like about fall 2010 ♥

Here's from yesterday, wearing my the biker pants -leggings and the denim jacket.

A denim jacket's starting to be a little too cold on mornings and nights now though! I'm craving for one of those military style jackets as hyped in the late JELLY mags and worn by Milla Jovovich in THIS SCENE in the Resident Evil Afterlife 3D movie which was, oh, amazing. Go see the movie if you haven't yet! And so, on the list of must-gets:

A military jacket with fur trimming on the hood or worn with a fluffy or a fur collar like this!

Well, at least I've got my 'Lara Croft' boots if I'm still missing my Resident Evil jacket!

I bought these brown Lara Croft bootsies from Zara ~3 years ago. Now I've finally broken them in thanks to almost-daily dog walks (because of  the man's pitbull pup) and let me tell you guys... A pair of sturdy boots like these are such a must-have item. So useful and bound to last for years and years!

I've been using mine now on days when I don't yet know if I'm going to have to go walk the dog etc later in the day by the time I'm leaving my place in the morning. An upgraded, more ladylike version of these would be the over-knee versions of these; like THESE BOOTS here worn by JELLY mag model Maichi, from my favorite J-shoe brand Jerry Girl ♥ Ah, the world really is too full of shoes to get!

So about those walks I was walking about? The nature's looking amazing isn't it!

Always munching on M&M's lately.

A little National Geographics try right there, no? I didn't have my Nikon with me so I was just snatching pictures with my Toshiba pocket video cam so we blame the quality on Toshi ok?

That's it for this little fall themed post. I'll be back soon, Cheers!
