Place To Be For The Upcoming Weeks
Okay - it's not out of country, it's not in downtown Helsinki, it's not even at my cozy suburb cafe bar (although that's actually not such a bad idea, to think of it). But it's a spot that's fairly sturdy, too small for both my school books and my laptop, and surrounded by lime green walls picked by the 13-year-old-me. Just where I should be spending my next weeks 24/7 - at my writing desk at my family's place, which is still where I currently reside.
With my currently under-construction inspiration board, and a calendar to keep track of my thesis.
Yes, that's where I should be spending my upcoming weeks for until my thesis for my Business studies is due, and that's around June 15th. I'm sure you can tell from the fact that I'm blogging here now, that I've been good sticking to my desk - it's just that the thesis would be done with a bit quicker if I didn't sit here blogging. But. Well you know!
This evening has been a fleece pants & hoodie one, getting over today's 6AM shift and German test, so I won't share the beauty of my today's look with y'all now. I do have something style related from the other day though, should be posting again before the weekend ♥

A Pastel Colored Easter Weekend
Wishing everyone an egg-ful Easter or as we'd say here in Finland; munarikasta pääsiäistä!
Hello there, fellow easter bunnies or chicklings! Easter weekend has almost passed but I thought I'd blog before I get to thesis work... well, I'm planning on it at least. I hope everyone's had descent amounts of chocolate eggs to eat and the chance to relax this long 4-day Easter weekend, should you celebrate Easter in the first place!
Here in Helsinki we are still desperately waiting for spring weather but I've tried to get in the spring mood with some pastels - here with my favorite new pastel yellow nail polish from Opi and some new light weight knits like this pear green one I found at KappAhl. And the chickling egg hood. And, hey, did anybody notice a little change in something about my looks? I will be blogging more about that hairy issue still.
Easter decorations in my family's home
I've had work 2/4 Easter days but will be having tomorrow off and should be heading for a last-minute arranged Easter lunch at B's family's. I'm not much for last-minute parties since I'm kind of a whinybutt and like to plan ahead what I'll be wearing and all, but I'm sure it'll be good.
Maybe I'll manage to make B take outfit photos of me too? Be back soon!

Ok, enough about blog plans for one post!
I would've wanted to carry out my "more style & outfit photos" plan with this post too, but I've a total pyjama banana since Christmas! So no nice new outfit photos to show now. But I was just going through the picture files on my phone and noticed there were loads of (more of less random and irrelevant) cell phone photos I never shared here on the blog yet -

Vlog Video Update – A Few Changes
Oh my oh my, does that headline really state _VLOG_ and _VIDEO?! Yep, I finally managed to record a vlog, that I'm actually publishing (I've given vlogs several tries throughout the summer, but have ended up publishing a great Zero). Some of you may remember me saying that I'll need to blog about what's been up with me in the past months - I decided to fit most of that in this vlog.
I made this just ~3 mins, so none of yalls will have to fear falling asleep while watching! ♥
I'd like HauteKeikk.com to stay a place for sharing ideas & inspiration about sweet things. But since I'll be living here at my family's and updating from here now, you guys would eventually have started wondering what the heck happened. And I'd rather have you know I'm still happily together with my B, but that we've just had to move out for the time being - than imagining even wilder things!
So, now you know what the deal is with how I'll be living for the time being; at my parents'. Right now, I don't really know what to think of this, it's such an odd situation for me to be staying here at my family's - after the past years of living on my own. If you are too, you might be able to imagine how crazy that might feel, moving back. Like going back in time. Mr.B says it's "just my big ego". Is it just that?
Either way, I'm glad the past few frustrating weeks of moving out (again!) are over!
Here's the apartment we left, almost emptied, with only some of my stuff left;
I will probably post photos from this home before we emptied it ↑ - once I start feeling like I can.

Yuppp, No way everything would fit in my room. I'm working on arranging things better, though!
I also rented a storage space ↓ now twice as full as here. And you can't see much here.
To those that have really been looking forward to an apartment introduction post; obviously I can now only be posting some detail photos from our ex apartment that I took this summer, and maybe a post from my "current room" at my parents'. But for an actual home / apartment post, we'll have to wait until I've got an apartment to call home again. Sorry, people!
So for now, I'm back to my old room, to staring at that same old birch tree behind it;
