Hello there, beautiful people. For those of you that are enjoying summer-ish weather still; hey, it’s not like I’m bitter or anything but we’ve been having these -6C days here in Helsinki lately. Uhuh uhuh? Which isn’t cold compared to the -25C we’ll be getting later in the winter though, of course.
What I’m saying is, if my posts start to seem too winterish to some, that’s why. ♥
Winter or not, this Saturday night when I headed downtown to meet up with my girl E, I had my first take on a cold weather look – wore my woolen coat & one of my faux fur hats I so much love.
Coat: Ichi, hat: GinaTricot, belt: Motel, boots: old ones I wore since my new heels were impossible.
Another faux fur hat, huh? I got this a few days ago from Gina, cost just 12€ so I couldn’t resist (though I have the same one in brown). And I’ve been making some other minor shopping finds too. Such as, I made a little order on ASOS.com – originally it was a friend’s gift order I was making, but tehn a few buys of my own somehow slipped in too. Heh heh.

About Saturday night itself; like said I headed to Helsinki citayyy straight from work to meet up with E. For a girl’s dinner night out, or after-work, something like that. We started off at Casa Largo with some Tapas & wine. Ah man… how can I explain well enough how great it feels to sit down with a real real friend, like this?

Some of you may have been reading this bloggy ~2 years ago, and may know that I used to go out or downtown a lot more and that I used to go out clubbing a lot. Well, well… then me and my Mr.B found each other, and well. You know what happens to married couples? Hohoho~ KIDDING!
But I’m OK off not dancing my butt off at clubs every weekend at age 22 I think. Plus, I’m a lazybutt.
Buy yes, after the Tapas on Sat night, me and E headed for the newly opened NAMU bar & lounge – I don’t have pictures from there which is a shame, because they had some fun interiors! But we snapped some photos on the way there;

you are adorable. I wish i could pull of cold weather chic like you do, but i usually end up in jeans, ugly boots, and and and equally ugly layered sweaters & jacket combo. but at least i am warm. :D
you should do a “winter must haves” style post for those of us who can’t look nice and stay warm at the same time!

aww cory, haha its not like i go out in a fancy jacket and fur hat every day :D mmostly theyre parka & layered scarves etc days in winter! layering is the best anyway :)
hmmm well the winter must-haves post DOES sound like a good idea, i remember someone else asking about the same thing before so i could really make one i guess ;o
and yes you should come visit finland- but if you do you have to let me know, and you might want to find out where everything cool is beforehand because if you dont, it may seem like a not-so-special place~
and it’s already so cold in helsinki??? >.< gosh, i get too cold already at temperatures around 0 degrees…

ah yesss we had a couple of those colder days but now its back to +5C again, but it will probably get colder again soon. usually bby this time of the year weve already got snow. and thanks for the compliments <3
