Two weeks it’s been since the last post, ah, what have I been doing? I have…
… secured myself a new interesting job in sales & marketing/communications, have started a new therapeutic little hobby, treated my body better than I ever have during the past 2 years, worked out so hard I’m still sore from my at-home Nike app workout I did on Wednesday, and so on.
That does sound pretty impressive when put down on a list like that, right?
Okay I tried to make it sound as interesting as possible, but some good has happened indeed. Did I mention I’ve been on my personal little “better life” project since the holidays / new years?
It’s starting to work out. Starting from a week from now I’ll be working 5 days a week on marketing campaigns & materials etc for a small company in men’s clothing resale. We have a great small team and I’m so excited to be taking up a new challenge with my career this spring! Another important aspect of the good life project is fitness, of course. I’ve challenged myself to eat proper meals daily and to slowly increase workout intensity and sessions. That’s also something I’ve been surprisingly happy to have seen myself succeed in of late.
I’ve also challenged myself to take up new hobbies to inspire me and give me joy. Just this week, pretty much out of nowhere I decided I just had to take up amigurumi – the Japanese art of cute crocheting. I haven’t yet decided what I’m going to do with the stuffed crocheted animals I’ll be producing but I’ve already bought a book, 2 new crochet hooks and some 10 new colors of yarn so, I’m well on my way into this new relaxing handicraft hobby.
It feels good to have found an internship job for the next few months and not just sit and wait for changes to happen, but to work on things instead. I hope you too find new things to inspire you and motivate you this year. Cheers ❤
