Finnish lake side, arguably one of the prettiest and calming surroundings I’ve known. I can’t even begin to explain how much I love sitting on the rocks by the waterline listening to the splashing, the quiet woods, the heat of the top bench in a good old wooden Finnish Sauna. Having grown up going to my dad’s family’s lake house every summer has left its mark on me. The lakeside always gives me that nostalgic feel that I’ll never want to leave and go back to Helsinki for.

This week I got to spend a few days at B’s family’s lake house in central finland, with the two of us and the dogs. Think I could’ve used a few more days of off-time!

This trips favorites were me and B’s boat ride with me suntanning and him fishing, then there was the fireplace he’d lit up for us that I’d sip coffee in front of, the full moon and the Sauna every evening. My almost-Oxford-Uni hoodie in size XL became my self-established statement item for when I wasn’t in the sun in a bikini; so unfortunately no outfit photos for this post!

On the 4th of July in a themed top. Outdoors tanning and reading some useful reads.

In other news, I’ve promised myself to finish my thesis this month. Followed by a renewal of the layout & header for the blog – Wait and see! I’ll be getting back with “new in”s asap, cheers ♥
