Just A Tiny Bit Of Shopping Therapy

Pretty little simple buys, taken from my Instagram, my newly found crush.

It's a bit scary in all it's vain-ness too, but when it's for something that passes for useful it makes it almost alright. Needless to say I am saying this because, although I am currently on a long saving-up process and struggle money-wise, I went and spent a little at Mango yesterday at the mall.

I actually went to get a white T but then couldn't resist the cross necklace and wallet. I've gone about wallet-less for the past months since my ancient Prada one's starting to be so broke down, so I got this roomy Mango wallet for until the next Prada. In some 10 years.

This one's much more neon & brighter than what it looks on here, quite summerish too!

This weekend was one of those just spent getting a lot of thinking done. I've read some motivational books and scrolled though inspiring blogs, setting up goals and thinking of how to get there. I did finish one belated report for a class too, so I'm one class closer to having all of my classes done and being able to concentrate on my thesis and other things full force.

One of those things, believe it or not, is blogging. I am writing my thesis on a related theme, so I will be on the blog and other social media more than you know this spring! Wait for it!

Now off to bed, got the lovely 6AM shift tomorrow morning. Cheers cupcakes  ♥

  1. It’s so true and unfortunately yes, kind of vain, that even small shopping REALLY helps. And occasional small purchases keep the motivation for saving for something bigger!

    • helouuu sanna!
some useful shopping does help pick up one’s mood, but of course, most ladies can disguise almost any shopping as “useful” :) but rn i cant afford much buying things for myself, so these little ones felt like treasures hehe.
now im back to saving up, yeah!

  2. Good to see you still around : D Love the necklace! You look amazing as always!

  3. Love your necklace and red wallet!

  4. I think it’s totally okay to treat yourself a little, even when you’re saving, so I’m glad you did! And they’re good, useful gets, which is even better~ You wallet is so cute, though! I’ve always had a soft spot for red. ^ ^

I hope you are able to reach all of your new goals as planned! And good luck with school things!

    Thank you for sharing~

    • yeah, i am saving for other more important things, so i really cant be buying things much so when i do now, it feels much more special :3 red is almost always trendy or at least classy, so its good!

    • Jahas, interesting read!

Here I am, sticking to these:
“Scholars have discovered that one way consumers combat hedonic adaptation is to buy many small pleasures instead of one big one.” :)
Still, “waiting for something and working hard to get it made it feel more valuable and more stimulating.” “scholars have found that anticipation increases happiness.”

Good thing is, with how my money and other things have been going lately I am more and more on the safe side with THIS issue:
“A study published in June in Psychological Science by Ms. Dunn and others found that wealth interfered with people’s ability to savor positive emotions and experiences, because having an embarrassment of riches reduced the ability to reap enjoyment from life’s smaller everyday pleasures, like eating a chocolate bar.

      PS.
“But for a certain segment of the population, clothes are an art form, a means of self-expression, a way for families to pass down memories through generations. “

  6. Haha, I know what you mean! Shopping always makes me feel better, even if it’s only for a little while ;x Lovely things you picked up though!

  7. Exactly what I need right now T____T <3
