J-Fashion Magazine Nuts Scans – Outfit Inspiration
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
I switched my plans on a romantic valentine's day date to an equally romantic at-home day with my B - I've spent these past 3-4 days in bed in a fever so I am happy to take today off as a recovery day! Ok I didn't really have plans for a date. Muffin much but some valentine's day baking and doodling on the computer today. Anybody got a big exciting date coming up?? Rock it!
Since I woke up with a fever on my meant-for-style-blogging Friday, I don't have outfit photos of myself to share now; instead I want to share a few late Japanese fashion magazine scans!
Dress-up Inspiration and Must-get Items

Since we've still got our almost-a-meter-of-snow here I can't quite yet jump into spring gear, but a lot of winter items go just as well in spring. Those huge knits are something I wish so hard to find in stores but haven't yet. Good looking jeans are also one thing I'm lacking - and one of those things that will make cold days and lazy days so much easier to dress up on!
I can't wait to go back to wearing shorts once it gets warmer here, and teaming them up with the big knits and boyfriend blazers! Somehow I don't yet have a single good blazer in my closet though - and I'll have to start working office jobs soon so I need to stock up on those classic, business items! Would love some pastels for spring.

how people still are into gyaru? it was like mamba at 90s. gone! it seems that youre only one who is still. since viivi is into rock and siru more ‘pissis’ nowdays.

eh, well, gyaru kei has a loooott of variations in japan i think, rock style being one of them, so i guess its quite hard to draw the line between who is and who is not gyaru :) or into the style.
for myself, i wouldnt call myself gyaru nowadays, i am so casual. but i love looking for inspiration in japanese fashion and am definitely interested in it still!! i don’t really mind if it’s “trendy” or not.
also, i think silja’s got a great sense in fashion and im liking viivi’s more rock vibe recently~

Don’t you just love how opening an issue of Happie Nuts is like being hit with one big wave of inspiration? Everytime I flip through a new issue, I want to get dressed up so I can go out and be fabulous. ^ ^
Totally feeling the black jeans and the blazers; two items I don’t own, but need to get in my closet, like right now. XD
