Gearing Up For Back-To-School
My friends, fall semester at the uni I study bizzz at, starts next week. Aw man . . .
What school kid or student does NOT have a love-hate relationship with the annual "BACK TO SCHOOL!!" advertisements etc everywhere, at the start of the new school year each fall? As if it wasn't obvious and annoying enough that summer vacation was coming to an end, each bus stop, newspaper and store window just HAS to SCREAM "back to school!"
Fellow students, don't tell me I'm alone with this feeling!
This Lindex window ↓ for one is almost right across from the shop I work in. Ggahhhh.
Ok this kinda store windows and stuff was cool on 1st and 2nd grade but...
I just counted I'm on my 16th study year!! Quite a lot of school years huh? *ka-chinggg*♪
But hey, you guys know
what's unusually awesome about back-to-school this year?

For the sake of this being my last school fall ever, I'm all up for hauling new school gear and school clothes like a proper school kid! Which always used to make my fall. When I was little I mean... what you say?... "just like every year for the past 16 years" eh? Ohh come oooonnn, don't kid yourselves! It's not like IT STILL DOES! ( > ε ´~ )
So yeppers, I just had to check on what school gear the stores had to offer.
To find they had Charmmy Kitty ↓ (when not Hello Kitty) on all the kid's stuff!
S'cuse me, shop sales person? Why did u not have alla dis back when I was a 1st grader huh?
Anyway I only bought the essential things. Such as this MyLittlePony sharpener ↓
And a 3€ on-sale Charmmykitty map, to keep at home for storing school print-outs.
Oh and about the Charmmykitty map; when I got home I noticed what it had on the back;
"K" ↑ . Heh heh, just perfect for a humble person like myself, to have my initial on it! Hohoho~*
I also bought a new planner ↓ with a clear photo pocket cover you can switch the pic of.
(My phone's calendar is crappy so I still use a planner book to keep up with work shifts, tests etc.)
Ahh, to be a school kid again!
Now let me show you what I'm going to be carrying in my school bag;
| - HK tissues, fold-out piggy shopping bag, leopard print makeup bag - a proper new eraser and sharpener - planner with an "elle accessories" pic I cut out and replaced the original cover pic with - keikkiPad in leopard print case, and a pink small folder for print-outs i get during class - Rilakkuma pencil pouch and/or mini HK pencil case - wallet and home and work keys, plus phone of course (missing from picture) |

Okayes, quite a lot of more or less artsy fartsy photos and what's more all of those not really having much to do with style or fashion at all heh heh (hautekeikk.com supposedly being a style/fash bloggy) but ahhh well! Still hoping you guys enjoyed the photos and a slightly randomnette post ~*

This was such a funny post as I’m going to Uni this year at 25 and I still look at the cutest stationery XD Sadly I have to get adult stuff like ugly metal rulers and plane erasers.
Ah well, am sure this’ll be a great year for you :D

ah and well, good to hear theres others in their 20-somethies like me still supporting character goods & sanrio etc!! oh and what, what do you mean you HAVE to get boring adult gear?? cant you be a rebel and just screw it and buy all bright and pastel colors and go hellokitty all the way eh?? im sure id want to do that! ^^

Awe, how exciting that this is your last year, granted all goes well (which I’m sure it will :D)! ♥ All your supplies are SO cute too, haha~ Sometimes I still wish I could buy character goods without feeling totally silly XD lol

n i think this post was wonderful, because hey, fall is nothing w/o buying school stuff ! now i feel like im _so going_ to buy all cute stuff for school tomo, tho i already have huge amount of books to carry w/ me… well, that’s high school right ?

helouuu, no tuota nytpä tuli vaikea kyssäri meinaan jos värjättyä väriä tarkotat, niin siitähän en tiedä koska sen laitto kampaaja! mun oma tukanvärihän on sellanen kun mulla n.10cm kohta jo juuresta kasvaakin, eli perus maantienharmaa joskin keltasemmilla aurinkoraidoilla näin kesällä :)

and heyyy hey fellow planner book girl! i also use an “IRL planner” like that… most people don’t get it… “why have an extra book in your bag all the time?” “you can just use your phone”… but i love writing with pencil so of course i have to have a planner book! planning stuff is more fun when you can write how you want!

Aww this post makes me wish I was still in college! *v* I always loved buying new stuff for school, it was so exciting! But I still have that feeling of renewal in September~ love the fall season!
The Charmmykitty map is adorable, I really like the design… and I think it’s awesome that you found your initial on it!! :D Your desktop area looks so nice, it’s inspiring!

Oh its so true, when you are a kid getting all the new pencils, markers, lunchbox and clothing is exciting. Using all the new things for the first week is exciting. But after…haha!
I feel just the same as you! This is my last year as a university student so I feel like getting some proper school supplies. I don’t really need much since I have just my thesis, but I want some cute things like yours!

Hahah ash, I don’t own a proper school bag either so I keep my stuff small so I can fit everything in a small bag.. It helps if you have a locker for books at school, and I always carry a separate book bag folded up in my purse for just in case :) good luck finding the perfect bag tho if you’re still looking for one! ^^

I miss the “new year back to school” feeling to be quite honest, but I don’t miss the “ugh omg homeworks & projects” part uhuhuhuh~
I work full-time and have been out of school for quite some time, so when I see the new school supplies and gears and clothes out this time of the year I keep trying to find some excuses to buy me some new stuff. But alas I really have no excuse because I wouldn’t use all the cute note books, pencils, backpacks, etc.
