Aye! I’m here with a little fall trends post! The new season’s hit stores and fall ’11 collections are up for viewing on the net. (Visit ELLE website to view collections!) Now. What kind of a cool cucumber does NOT get excited about new season’s trends and the chance to update your wardrobe, huhhh?! I’m not a very cool and calm person myself btw, just for the record.

Yup, I’ve got  my head filled with fall so you can only imagine how I lalalalaa~! ( ´*     ε     *` )

Buuuut I live on a student’s budget and am struggling with money right now, so I can’t be spending on clothes.. So, I’ll have to do with style ‘planning’ for now! Whenever I can’t afford buying everything or clothing to feed my hunger for fashion which is, most of the time, I plan. I try to figure how to mix things in my own style & “which way” to go style wise!

So like now, I dream, and look for inspiration in for example magazines ↓

ELLE SWE, ELLE FIN runway booklet, and VOGUE July. Emma’s looking stunning there!♥

So style planning, eh? Yup yup, been doing some hardcore scrolling through magazines and peeking on F/W runway collections online! This time round I got so into this whole fall style planning thing that I actually went and cut out some “staples” and favorite trends from that ELLE f/w’11 runway collections booklet . . .

And using the learnt-in-elementary school cut & paste method (literally, not in PS),
I made a collage of my favorite trends  for this fall ↓

OK, so seems like the fur thing is still as in as ever, and I have to admit I like the looks of it, but I’m going to keep supporting the faux fur items instead of real fur! (Some of you’s might know how I feel about real fur as a friend of furry creatures and a no-meat eater, and it’s not something very approving eh). There’s also a lot of knitted stuff and layering and such in this fall’s collections. Plus, the metallics trend is definitely worth looking into for late night looks and to pair with black!

I’m just going to give you guys a few examples and my favorite collections.

1.) the furry looks, here some jackets and detailing ↓

Click for bigger btw! ↑ It’s not exaggerated to say that most F/W’11 collections had fur in them.

2.) black & shiny, along with metallics, black and vinyl-like materials were everywhere.

I can’t get past how much I liked the looks of Barbara Bui’s collection!

3.) favorite collection, Roberto Cavalli‘s Fall ’11 RTW ↓ Would love to wear this look!

I mean what’s there not to like about pirate-ey looks, animal prints and military jackets/vests?!

Yup yup, so nothing much up, just sittin’ here waitin for a call from Roberto saying he’s getting everything in his fall RTW line in size XS or S getting shipped to my door… yes yes, same address as last year…

Ok, realistically,  I can’t shop Cavalli nor any other brand right now, so I’m going to go for high-street versions. Of course. Plus I’m going to draw inspiration from gal style stuff LIKE THIS (my tumblr ‘outfit inspiration’ page, check check!) when mixing my fall style!

Ah, I really enjoy planning on outfits & making imaginary got-to-get lists ( ˆ        ω        ˆ )/♥

We’ll see what  style buys I end up making for fall & winter in the end. Tho I’ve actually just made 2 fall style staple buys…… but ohhh I can’t tell you more nowwww!! ( º         ε        º ;) Heehee I’m going to make my next post about them (and all kindsa other cool stuff ofc heh heh)!
