I started HauteKeikk.com in 2008 because I wanted to create a public blog for sharing and feeding my passion for style&fashion and loads of other little things in life worth smiling for. I keep this blog up for the love I have for writing, snapping photographs, playing with photoshop, and creating web site stuff. I also see this blog as an especially rewarding marketing assignment.
If I manage to share ideas, thoughts and inspiration with this blog as well as to gain some on the way, I'm one happy blogger.

About myself; In case we've already met, you'd most likely know me as the talkative, outspoken and generally cheerful one. Us Finns are typically known as 'quiet, melancholic and stubborn' around the world, yet I feel like I've always been the opposite. Excluding the stubborn part, that is - but I'd rather think of it as 'determined'. If by chance you are now under the impression of me being a princess-y girly girl, I probably ought to tell you that I am quite the dork and a one of the boys kind of a girl at heart. Don't let the high heels, fashion fanaticism and pink this & that fool you, my friend! What makes my world right now is sharing my life & building a future with the man of my life, my mr.B ♥ Right now I am busy finishing my Uni business studies and working at GameStop on the side. I am now temporarily staying at my family's after living by myself for 2 years, because me & B are currently looking for a suitable home for us to move in together. |

" keikk " pronounced like cake, my nickname and online alias
" haute " referring to the fashion term haute couture, reminding of the style side of the blog
ホットケーキ =hotcake, Japanese for pancakes. Almost like haute keikk.
