Packing the Suitcase

Since you might've been wondering what this SUITCASE part of the site is all about... let me give you a little explanation. I personally love travelling and cultures other than my own country's too; I decided to give those topics their own category. Being the eternal dreamer that I am, I've always loved reading travel journals, and so I've decided to post my own on here.

Up next on my TRAVEL JOURNAL:
Departing Helsinki-Vantaa Airpoort, Finland on Feb 23rd.
The Keikk VS 3x Asian Metropolis -trip ♡

★ Flying Helsinki-Seoul-Bangkok / Destination 1. BANGKOK 2 weeks
★ Flying BKK-SEL, going SEL-Busan-Osaka / Destination 2. TOKYO 2 weeks
★ Going down to Osaka & Kyoto / Destination 3. OSAKA ~1 week
★ Going Osaka-Busan-Seoul / Destination 4. SEOUL ~4 days
Meaning altogether a ~5 week trip in the Japan - Thailand - South-Korea section.

I checked my calendar just a moment ago just to see that I am only 20 days away from stepping on that Finnair flight from Helsinki to Seoul. My dear co-worker, who I will actually meet up with in Seoul after staying in BKK first, asked me if I wasn't excited about my upcoming trip at all... I said 'Not really, I'm just stressing about getting all the preparations ready that I really havent had much time to start stressing or getting all excited about the trip itself!'
Well, I must say I'm an honest girl but right there the female in me jumped in and I spit oput a tiny little white lie. See, in reality, I'm stressing like no other about wether or not I'm going to get everything done on time. You know the feeling right before christmas that all the moms go through, trying to get everything done and just perfect before the 'big day'? Well, you know the feeling then.

I've been working hard to get stuff off of my list-to-do tho:
Just today I got home with some nifty little miniature bottles of hair spray, mousse, lip balm, refillable travel bottles, face wash and this ultra cute little Lee Stafford dry shampoo bottle. You know - those essential travel mates that no real urban jungle explorer, such as my own brave self, could manage without on an adventurous and challenging trip like this one of mine. In other words, I'm not sure how essential those really were, but since I'm afraid of not being able to fit everything in a proper suitcase I decided to get the mini bottles of all those anyway.

One less thing to do, more to go: HOW TO GET ALL OF THE ABOVE THERE...
Without ending up with that extra +20kg overweight in my suitcase (like last time when I was about to board my return flight from Nagoya to Helsinki and almost didn't make it cause they wouldn't let me in with that much extra weight). And that, my friends, was one of the most dreadful experiences in my life. I think. But at least running around the airport afterwards trying to catch the flight with a thousand layers of clothes (that I had to take out of my suitcase, on top of it my pink Stich Angel kigurumi) made the whole scene a little more melodramatic cheerful. So anyway; what I am looking for now is a suitcase that I can't stuff so full it'll weight twice the ok-weight for a single person's suitcase. I'll get back to posting as soon as I get some more stuff done... But next time I'll talk about more than packing hohoho!

PS: I just got the newest egg magazine today, hopefully we'll be seeing scans soon hmm~
